LA COLOMBE

As one of Africa’s most awarded restaurants, La Colombe epitomises fine dining in Cape Town. The creation of a custom-made vanity for the establishment was approached by Cannata with the restaurant’s elegant interiors in mind. Carved from a solid block of Green Serpentine, the unique hand-washing station was designed to resemble a bird bath, bringing the surrounding natural environment into the restaurant setting. Specially fabricated brass components add interest to the piece, resulting in a sculptural talking point in the visitor experience.
