WHAT WE DO

BESPOKE CONSULTANCY

Cannata’s consultancy gives clients practical insights into the incredible potential of stone. Book a one-on-one consultation with third- and fourth-generation co-owners Italo and Claudia Cannata to discuss your project brief and budget, and be taken on a tour of Cannata’s Cape Town factory, discovering what is possible with granite, marble, porcelain and stone.

Through this personalised consultation, you’ll gain the valuable stone expertise that your stylish interiors deserve, with the Cannata team developing a curated proposal on the premium-quality materials and finishes that would be best suited for each aspect of your build.

Furniture and product designers also gain a deep understanding of fabrication through Cannata’s consultancy, learning which stones are best suited to certain metals, fabrics, woods and other materials.

PROJECT-SPECIFIC PROCUREMENT

Cannata’s many decades in the industry make it the most knowledgeable South African stone company sourcing marble, granite and stone from highly regarded suppliers  around the world. Personal communication with every client ensures that particular project requirements are satisfied through purchasing the right stone for the perfect surface. Cannata matches material needs and budget considerations to procure the best solution from its network of international suppliers – be it large volumes for a hotel chain or a single slab for a private residence.

SUPPLYING STONE FROM SOURCE

Cannata’s processes are built on personal relationships that have been nurtured since the company’s beginnings in 1910. The brand’s trusted supply chain includes established stone companies around the globe, allowing Cannata to procure materials directly from the source, according to project specifications.

Through in-house fabrication, Cannata ensures an elegant finish to its final products, be they counter tops, wall cladding, flooring or bespoke design pieces such as wall sconces, tables or plinths – all made with stone that comes from a quarry known to the Cannata family.
